Comments: |
A double CD of dubious origin containing what appear to be old mussette recordings (valses and tangos), probably from the 40s, 50s, and 60s (the edition has no liner notes other than the name of the artists and the source of the recordings: "The Museum of Old Masters"). It contains an obscure piece named "Piazzolita" authored and interpreted in bandoneon (and strings) by Rene Pesenti. There is no information as to the year of the recording, and if the piece is indeed an homage to Astor Piazzolla. If you have information about this piece, please contact me at cesar@piazzolla.org |
