Description: |
This is one of two Japanese reissues of records made by Piazzolla in the US in the 1957-1959 period (apparently for the US market, where Piazzolla was working as a session musician at the time). Information for these records was researched and furnished by Mitsumasa Saito, who also wrote the liner notes of the Japanese reissues.
Evening in Buenos Aires was recorded and intended to be released as Tico LP-1065 but was never released, so the Japanese re-issue is the it first release. Unlike take me Dancing! this is a more traditional tango recording. Musicians playing on the record are unknown.
