Comments: |
Tracks 1-2 were recorde in the studio in 1969 and issued as a single (legend has it that in the wake of "Balada para un Loco", a highly conroversial hit at the time, somebody went and asked Goyeneche (El Polaco, a very respected tango singer then), if "Balada..." was a tango, Goyeneche's response was: "no, no es un tango...es un tangazo" (no, it isn't a tango...it is a great tango". He proceeded to back up his words by recording the song.
Tracks 3-10 were recorded live at the Teatro Regina of Buenos Aires in May 1982 (the musicians listed above are for that concert only).
