Comments: This is a Japanese reissue on double CD of the records "Musica Contemporanea..." made by Piazzolla with his "Conjunto 9" (nonet). The selection also includes other recordings from that period. Tracks 7-13 are from "El Gordo Triste" by Astor Piazzolla and Amelita Baltar (who sings in tracks 8-13). Tracks 20-21 are film music (Cadaveri Eccelenti), tracks 22-24 are by Amelita Baltar accompanied by Conjunto 9 (remakes of the Piazzolla-Ferrer songs recorded earlier for CBS, then re-done for RCA). Track 25 is music for a TV show.
