Comments: |
A CD reissue including two LPs: Biyuya and Woe. Biyuya (tracks 1-6) was recorded in Buenos Aires in 1979 and it was the first record made by the reconstituted quintet (musicians listed above). There are some reissues of this record under the name "Escualo". Woe was recorded in Munich in 1983 by Piazzolla and the String Quertet from the Graunke Orchestra of Munich. Five of these Sette Sequenze were re-recorded years later by Piazzolla with the Kronos Quartet as Five Tango Sensations |
